Wheelchair Cushion Models Available:

Airpulse PK: The Airpulse PK wheelchair cushion plays two crucial roles in dealing with pressure sores. It helps speed the healing of existing pressure sores and helps prevent new pressure sores from forming. The user can actually dial in the cushion inflation and deflation sequence to best match their specific weight and pressure relief needs. Alternate cells of the cushion are automatically inflated and deflated on an adjustable timed cycle. This action changes pressure contact points and stimulates circulation to compressed tissue. This creates a comfortable and stable seating environment where pressure contact points are changed automatically.

Custom Air: With the Custom Air wheelchair cushion you are able to control the degree of inflation of the two areas of the cushion and apply a lower inflation (interface) pressure where it is most needed, to the bony areas of the posterior. You can "see" the inflation level of both areas of  the cushion via the LED style pressure indicator.
