The HoyerŽ Classic Pool Lift is easily operated by attendant with a hydraulic-powered lifting mechanism which allows for recreational and therapeutic swimming. This makes the experience more enjoyable for both patient and attendant. Q1: Can the SS-HSP be used with a base with casters?
A1: No. The Hoyer Swimming Pool Lifter is not interchangeable with any other Hoyer Lifter models.
Q2: What type of maintenance is required on the SS-HSP?
A2: The SS-HSP does not require a lot of maintenance. Every other month put a drop of oil on the joints at the top of the mast, top and bottom of the pump, the swivel bar hook, and the pump handle hinge. While oiling the lifter, check all the cap nuts and bolts to be sure they are tight. It is also recommended that if you live in a high humidity or salt area that you wax the exposed lifter parts periodically to help prevent corrosion.
Q3: Can the SS-HSP be converted to a 4-point cradle?
A3: No.
Q4: Can the SS-HSP be converted to a power unit?
